NDIS Counselling Services



Listen and Care Counselling is an independent provider of mental health services to NDIS plan-managed and self-managed participants.

Chris is a Level 4 registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association. Chris has a client-centred approach and has experience working with participants who have Autism, ADHD, ADD, OCD, physical disabilities and chronic health issues, such as MS.

Chris uses appropriate therapies to assist the participant including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Narrative Therapy. Chris also incorporate mindfulness and relaxation therapies in her practice.

Counselling can help you to manage a wide range of mental health issues that you may be experiencing including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, panic disorders, addiction (smoking or alcohol), grief and loss, eating disorders and help you work towards your goals.

You as the participant will decide on the number and frequency of the sessions to suit your needs.

Chris has a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and is triple vaccinated against COVID-19.

Counselling is normally funded under the Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living category in your NDIS plan. Check with your Support Co-ordinator if you are unsure.

You can access counselling services either by phone, Zoom or face-to-face, to suit your individual needs.


Listen and Care Counselling has experience providing Employment Related counselling to NDIS plan-managed and self-managed participants. Chris can assist you to develop your interview skills and confidence when seeking employment.

Chris is a qualified Careers Practitioner and has over 12 years experience helping individuals to find their career pathway, by identifying their interests, skills and strengths and to provide coaching to help you to achieve your employment goals.

Chris can also assist you to access tertiary training.

Employment Related Counselling is normally funded under Capacity Building – Finding and Keeping a Job in your NDIS plan.
