DO I HAVE IMPOSTER SYNDROME AND HOW CAN I MANAGE IT?

What is Imposter Syndrome?

Imposter Syndrome could be defined as having persistent thoughts that you are inadequate, without having any evidence to substantiate these thoughts. It is most often experienced in the workplace, but can also occur in social settings.

As a counsellor working with young professionals and mid-career changers, I have noticed an increase in clients expressing their fears of ‘being found out as a fraud’ by others. This is despite the client having suitable qualifications and experience for their job.
