ABOUT LISTEN AND CARE COUNSELLING
COUNSELLING WITH CHRIS
Hi, I am Chris Wood, the director and owner of Listen and Care Counselling in Bayside Melbourne.
My aim is to help you to make positive changes in your life and improve your overall wellbeing. I have a person-centred counselling style, meaning that you as the client are my focus.
Listen and Care Counselling has experience using evidence-based and well known counselling therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative therapy and Solution focussed counselling.
I am a professional Counsellor Level 2, registered with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). My qualifications include a Master of Counselling from Monash University and a Bachelor of Science. I have extensive experience working with both adults and adolescents in private practice and EAP (Employee Assistance Programs).
If you are an NDIS participant, either plan-managed or self-managed, you can access counselling if your plan includes 'Improved daily living skills'. Chris has experience working with NDIS participants with autism, ADHD, ADD, OCD and chronic diseases such as MS and helping participants to achieve their goals.
If you require Career counselling or wish to develop employabilty skills, Chris is also a qualified Careers practitioner and registered with the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA).

LOCATIONS AND HOURS OF OPENING
Listen and Care Counselling is a private practice located in the Bayside suburbs of Melbourne - Beaumaris and Moorabbin, Victoria.
Opening hours are Monday 6-8pm, Tuesday 9am to 6pm, Thursday 6-8pm, Friday 9am to 11.30am,
Saturday 8.30 am to 3pm
